The yoga retreat in Puglia, located outside the bustling city of Bari, is dedicated to mindfulness, “il dolce far niente” and the magic of southern Italy. The aim of the retreat is to release stress as well as to strengthen mindfulness and resilience – while enjoying a holiday in a quiet and relaxing ambience. All sessions are held in German by Stefanie Mandl, a certified yoga teacher from Austria, and are open for all levels – no yoga experience required.
The days start with gentle morning yoga and mindfulness meditation. More comprehensive sessions and workshops during the day provide a content-based impulse to strengthen stress competence and resilience. In addition to yoga sessions in the evening, participants have the opportunity to introduce individual evening rituals. To make the retreat even more individual, participants can also book additional private sessions with Stefanie (e.g. Svastha yoga therapy, coaching, energy work or sound meditation).
The region
The region of Puglia can be explored in a slow manner, for example by walking through Alberobello with its picturesque white trulli houses or visiting the fascinating caves of Castellana and the lovely town of Polignano Mare. And of course, there is also time to spend at the beach!
The accommodation
The accommodation – a so called “masseria” (a traditional farmhouse) – offers cozy rooms, an outdoor swimming pool and lots of surrounding nature, the perfect ambience for a relaxing stay. Rich breakfast buffets, healthy afternoon snacks as well as varied menus in the evenings encourage to explore the region also on a culinary basis.
The yoga teacher
Stefanie Mandl is a yoga teacher since 2012. Through Svastha yoga, energy and sound healing she assists people in reconnecting with themselves and experiencing how magnificent they truly are. Stefanie loves to explore holistic selfcare and growth. In her work she aims to empower people to hold space for their own natural personal growth. Stefanie offers yoga and meditation classes as well as workshops and private sessions.
