The short version of the itinerary “The North”, a cultural and culinary tour through Northern and Central Italy, comprises visits of the most beautiful “borghi” – fascinating small towns generally fortified and dating back from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance – such as Civita di Bagnoregio or Poppi.

What is more, Italian UNESCO World Heritage Sites, like the vineyard landscape of the Monferrato area in Piedmont and the Basilica of Saint Francis in Assisi, are part of the itinerary.
