Our journey begins in Asolo, the “Town of a Hundred Horizons,” where watercolour painting becomes a unique way of discovering the region. Together with carefully curated excursions, you’ll create not only unforgettable memories but also your own beautifully illustrated travel journal.

Watercolour is at the heart of the retreat, complemented by ink and mixed-media techniques. From historic architecture and picturesque landscapes to regional delicacies and the charming details of everyday Italian life, you’ll capture your impressions on paper step by step. The focus is not on perfection, but on mindful observation, creative exploration, and the joy of making art. The retreat is designed for both beginners and experienced artists – no previous experience is required.

The workshops take you from urban sketching in the charming streets of Asolo to plein air painting among vineyards, as well as culinary illustration sessions and postcard-sized watercolour paintings inspired by Bassano del Grappa. Each workshop is thoughtfully connected to the day’s experiences and destinations, allowing your journey to continue creatively long after each excursion.

Throughout the retreat, you’ll be accompanied by an experienced tour leader who not only ensures a seamless travel experience but also shares fascinating insights into the region’s culture, history, and the Italian way of life.
